Proven Methods
Study Technology is an educational methodology developed by author and humanitarian L. Ron Hubbard to help people of all ages be able to learn and understand subjects more effectively, and has been used successfully in classrooms around the world for five decades. With its focus on understanding the student’s needs and helping them overcome the barriers to study, Study Technology has been proven to improve student performance and engagement.
Campaign
The Applied Scholastics Sponsor-A-Teacher fundraising campaign is designed to provide teachers with the training they need to understand and apply Study Technology in their classrooms and implement the tools in their daily lessons. This is an incredible opportunity to support teachers in their classrooms and make a difference in the lives of the thousands of students these teachers will help over the course of their professional careers.
We know that by providing teachers with the tools and resources to implement Study Technology in their classrooms, we can help students reach their full potential.
Matching Funds
We are so excited about your donation, that Applied Scholastics Spanish Lake is offering matching funds for each donation made, in order to reach and train as many teachers as possible at our premier Educator Training Institute in St. Louis, Missouri.
Your generous donations will help give teachers the support they need to become the best educators they can be and help their students gain the vital skills of how to study and how to learn.

The impact of just ONE teacher trained in Study Technology
The average teacher will impact more than 3,000 students throughout the course of their career.
What your donation covers
The cost to train ONE teacher at the Applied Scholastics Educator Training Institute is:

$500 - for local educators (not requiring meals and accommodations), or
$1,000 - for educators traveling from out of state
​
The training duration is 7 days and includes:

A personal tour of the Applied Scholastics Spanish Lake facility

Applied Scholastics Spanish Lake is offering MATCHING donations.
This means that for every $250 cash donation you make, along with the $250 that APS will match, we can train ONE local St. Louis educator.
For every $500 cash donation you make, along with the $500 that APS will match, we can train ONE educator and provide them the meals and accommodations they need for the duration of their training.

All donations are tax deductible. Applied Scholastics Spanish Lake is an exempt organization as described in section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code.
